The free Music on the Rocks festival takes to the stage this Saturday July 30, 2011, at Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort. Admission is free with live music from some much-loved regional performers, and of course dancing if you’re in the mood. (It’s usually a bit cooler up in the mountains, so maybe dancing isn’t quite as unrealistic as it sounds as I write this on a hot July afternoon!) Plus artisan booths and La Chiripada Winery of Dixon hosting free wine tastings from 12 noon.
Music on the Rocks starts at 10 am until 7:30 pm. Performers include the Taos band Last to Know, Carl Struck, the Main Street Garage Band, Jenne McIntosh, and Chris Morel and Charlie Whaler.
